Kingfishers, stonechat and more

The light this afternoon was very poor so the kingfisher decided to pose with a fish!

Yesterday the light was far better.  Here is one a flock of 20+long tailed tits and one of many singing robins

Saturday morning started promising with the mist lifting just as I arrived only to come down again completely after 5 minutes.  Took this picture before the mist thickened.

The afternoon was much better and the kingfisher performed well .

This sparrowhawk was too close at Seaton marshes

and back on Black hole marsh could not resist this cormorant.  There was also beautiful stonechat, a little egret close on the river and an even better performance from the kingfisher.

Finally one of the grey plovers on Black hole marsh last week
