At last!

At last there were increased numbers of swallows and house martins together with the odd sand martin on the Axe estuary this afternoon particularly around the Borrow Pit area on Seaton marshes.  As there was not much else about there I moved on to Black hole marsh where 6 beautiful dunlin were settled nice and close to the island hide.

Dunlin

Unfortunately the light was rather poor for taking photos of the swallows etc

Sand martin

A quick trip out yesterday and yet another sandwich tern came and landed just across the river in front of me

And finally this green sandpiper just comes closer and closer.
