A bit late doing this I'm afraid but tuesday evening saw this distant sanderling on Black hole marsh (though not for very long) with some ring plovers and dunlin.
Yesterday I was just in time to see this (also distant) beautiful spoonbill fly off and up from Colyford Common which was a bit frustrating.
Meanwhile one of the 2 green sandpipers on Black hole marsh has been posing nicely at all angles for some nice photos
and the oyster catchers have been very active!
The pintails remain and were on the river near the tower hide yesterday
and finally a little egret in a different pose
