Lots to see at Black Hole Marsh

Apart from the usual dunlin, ring plovers, black tailed godwits, green and common sandpipers, greenshank, redshank and the spotted redshank to name but a few today was a little different.
There was a kittiwake lying low amongst the grass which was a bit worrying, though it did eventually fly but not too far.  Late afternoon it was still present on an island amongst the black headed gulls.  Hopefully it was just exhausted from yesterdays weather and will soon recover.  This afternoons pictures are at the end.

Spotted redshank, wheatears and more

The spotted reshank posed close to the hide this morning so had lots of pictures like this

and could not resist this little egret standing so patiently

Yesterday morning Seaton marshes had 3 wheatears with another one on Black hole marsh

The antics of this robin amused for a good 10minutes bobbing its head from side to side so had to photograph it!

These godwits, dunlin and water vole are from last week on Black hole marsh.
